Artist description
Heavy rhythms anchor slinky bass lines and kinetic sax playing on this trio's first release, a live recording.
Megaphone Man's music makes people either want to dance, throw furniture or work physics problems.
These guys never play the same song twice (and sometimes not even once), since their style is improvisational within an accessible rhythmic and melodic framework. |

Artist History
Neal and Bryan met while playing with drummer Jeff Sipe's short-lived band the Apartment Project.
Jeff Reilly is a known entity in the Athens music scene. In January 1999, Neal asked them if they wanted to play something new with him, booked a gig, and introduced them to each other at their first sound check.
The combination of players was a creative and musical success, and Megaphone Man has been playing together ever since. |
