Artist description Lucent is this group's name and also a concept. The direct definition of Lucent is: to shine, or to be a medium through which light shines through. Lucent has performed in numerous types of events across the US and has received radio airplay from stations around the World. Lucent is comprised of five members from Southern Indiana. The unique style of this group has quickly made them one of the most popular groups in music today.

Artist History This group started performing feats of strength in 1989. The purpose was to gain the attention of the general public. In 1990, the addition of music was incorporated in the shows. This, in turn, inspired the members of the group to write, record, and perform music with an intriguing message. Over the past few years, a broad spectrum of musical styles, such as; Alternative, Industrial, and Rap have been adopted. By combining these various styles of music, the result, is a group with it's own unique sound.
