Artist description
Loud, soft, punk, rock, pretty, crazy, songs. Coloff and her entourage will take you on a raw, often eerie, sometimes psychedelic, sometimes scathing, and due to the prominance of the cello, often poignant trip through the darker side of an introspective psyche. Frequent, abruptly shifting tempos, along with vocal phrasing intentionally and ingeniously at odds with the music, are the aural equivalent of the nervous-making and engrossing slanted-camera angle so favored in film noir. |
