Artist History
ing started out in '95 as an acoustic duo of Mark and Sean. After setting the coffee culture ablaze, the two decided to turn it up to eleven. Songs were recorded, cds were released, life was good. A few implosions later, ing is now a quartet of 'let's just say', interesting personalities and gobs of talent. Mark and Sean are joined by the juggernaut rhythm section of Ty Gerhardt on bass and Lliam "you don't know what it's like in here" Hart on Drums. This concoction of four is as strong as ever and I can only recommend you stop reading right now and go listen to the music! ing was voted "Best Local Rock Band" in the San Francisco Bay Guardian's, Best of the Bay readers poll....thanks man! |

Press Reviews
San Francisco Bay Guardian Best of the Bay Readers Poll - "BEST LOCAL ROCK BAND" - July 2002
"All in all, this album ("Liberty") rocks. It's just that simple." - TheGlobalMuse.com, November 2000
"Save for a few sparks, pop music of 1999 mostly droned ... I'm encouraged by ... some great local bands that do sound fresh and may someday trigger a grass-roots movement toward quality. Ing ... makes music that must make record companies cringe. It can't be compared or sold like soft drinks." - San Jose Mercury News, 12/7/99 "...ing is earning well-deserved raves for Liberty, a stellar, self-made CD that conjures up such pleasant, cross-pollinated mental images as Pink Floyd collaborating with R.E.M. and Simon & Garfunkel jamming with the Smiths." - Billboard Magazine, 9/18/99 “Strong songs are ing’s thing” – SF Bay Guardian, 4/19/00
