Artist History
I played in several rock bands in High School; The Spyders, The Castaways, etc., etc. I got involved with drugs and "hippymania" and barely survived. In the late 60's I wisely gave up and let the Lord take charge. I soon began writing songs and traveling with Evangelists. I met Debbie, (a nice church girl), and soon she began singing in the group. She did pretty good so I married her. We went on our own and traveled, sang, and preached in most of the US and several other countries. These are some of the songs we sang in the revival meetings. They were recorded at Aircraft Studios in Pittsburg and digitally remastered at Brownwood Studios in Gibsonburg, Ohio. I now work with multiple-handicapped children and Debbie works with the developmentally disabled. We are working on some new songs so stay tuned! |

Press Reviews
Listen.com: "Christian lyrics in a folk, country, rock setting. Gary Batchelder's voice has a deep, Gordon Lightfoot quality to it and he employs a large number of styles that keep a coherent sound."- Nick D. |
