Artist description
Pronounced (flee-zah-doe-zah). There's a distinctive quality that defines the work of flezaDoza - a singer/songwriter whose influences range from a wide spectrum of musical styles. Reflective, melancholy and melodically colorful are his songs, but driving that sound is an energetic vocalist and guitarist who wields his voice like a paintbrush upon the sonic canvas that unfolds.
He creates quite a stir on the NYC scene performing regularly in venues such as the Bitter End and the C-Note, along with bandmates Andy Schnieder on bass and Shane Row on drums. He has had the privilege to perform at the coveted Songwriters Hall of Fame showcase, and while having been mentioned in Billboard magazine for an astounding SESAC showcase, he continues to establish recognition within the industry. His first album called "Dinner in Black and White" is a five song solo acoustic EP which can still be purchased at CDBaby.
"fleza...what???" is the common response upon hearing the name. But intrigued fans are still curious to know what it means. Often reluctant to reveal it's origin, he insists that "the beauty of it...is its mystery". Well...you can't argue with that - flezaDoza is something you must come see for yourself...and maybe ...he'll tell you what it is... |
