Artist description
The band is born in 1994 with the name of Babylon, and grew up playing through the local circuit, slowly heading its sound towards a melodic rock with clear-cut progressive style, an agile polymorphism trough classical, heavy metal and dark influences, sudamerican and mid-oriental metamorphosis, through the union of contaries, passing beyond the strict rules of progressive rock, trying to find out again its real meaning. In the lyrics there’s an unending quest for the ego, through a journey between dream and memory, ethos and eros, complying with our own sehnsucht. |

Artist History
The band is born in 1994 with the name of Babylon. In 1996 they became Eclisse.Their last studio work dates back to 1996, being entitled “ Dinamica 1 – demo 1996”, and even if recorded in three days, it did receive positive comments by various magazines, beyond all expectations. It picks up the Babylon’s inheritance, filtering it and smoothing it, and throwing it in the “Eclisse” spirit, showing the first gleams of the further developments of a constantly melting and coagulating sound. The many changes in the band’s line-up hide the real firmness and decision of the creative nucleus Gianluca – Berardo – Antonio, that allowed to mantain a substancial unity of aims and purposes during the years. |
