He strums,picks, pops and plays steel string and nylon Acoustics and Electric Guitar. He also handles all of the Sequencing/Sampling of Bass, Keyboards and Percussion. Larry is an outstanding Sax & Flute player with incredible versatility in the styles ranging from Richard Elliott, Tom Scott, David Sanborn and Sonny Rollins. Session Drummers & Percussionists brings it all together asseasoned Pro's in combining all of the passion andgrace found in one dynamic, cohesive force. The result is a revolution in adult contemporary Jazz music. The new album is a richly woven tapestry of sound and feeling with pulsating grooves and rhythms. |

Group Members
The Jazz Group "Double Play" consists of Steve Doctor on Guitar, Voice & Sequencing. Larry Filippone covers all horns, including Tenor, Alto & Soprano Saxophones. Larry also plays flute. And on Free-lance Drums and percussion include such artists' as: Rene Lopez, David Menchaca, and Eric Casillas. After years of playing with all known genres of music, Steve & Larry decided on getting together as one cohesive force to create "Double Play" so they could play the music that they love the most. |
