Artist History
I started playing drums at age 12, and switched to guitar at age 22. After playing professionally for several years I went to Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduation I went on the road with a long string of bands, some unknown and some well known. A partial list of artists who I have opened concerts for includes John Mellencamp, Jefferson Starship, Head East, Edgar Winter, Humble Pie, Henry Lee Summer, Jerry Lee Lewis, John Anderson, Ricky Skaggs, Emmy-Lou Harris, Charlie Pride, Jimmy Dean, Loretta Lynn, Jerry Reed, Mel Tillis, Ronnie Milsap, Crystal Gayle etc. Some of the bigger crowds I've played to were at the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis, IN, the 1990 Disney World Jamstand Concert in Orlando, FL, the 1992 US Hot Air Balloon Championships in Baton Rouge, LA, the 2000 MOTM festival in Key West, FL, and Fish Stock 2000 in Punta Gorda, FL. Right now I'm focusing on writing and recording my own material on which I play all the instruments, and have just released my second solo album, "Shred Head". This album is stylistically 180 degrees removed from my first one. (From Yanni to Shred without blinking an eye - go figure?) |
