First, Thanks to everyone who came to support us at the Hobnobbin North last friday- we had a great time and got a great response from everyone, you guys are the best. We had a blast, for everyone who stuck around to the end, when we jammed with everyone in the place. So, thank you for making it great for us. Second, Sorry about the lack of updates, but as i mentioned last time, having a slow internet connection is a bitch. Regardless, i managed to get up a ton of new stuff. I uploaded a ton of new pics, and reorganized the pics pages to accommodate them. There's some from the past few shows that i never uploaded, as well as some fun ones from when we were cutting our demo in a studio two weeks ago. BTW, you can hear a brand new track off of that very demo on our mp3.com page right now! more are coming as soon as i can upload them! We also got booked on another really good gig, and that is we will be performing live at this year's Roof-A-Thon! In case you don't know what that is, that's a huge charity event WPDH (our local radio station) puts on annually to raise money for charity. It takes place on top of the roof of the 7-11 on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls, NY (a little past the rte. 9 exit off of I-84). And this year, you'll be able to catch us there! We'll be performing friday, august 1st, at 6:00 pm! We'll only be on for about half an hour, so you better be there and check it out! and while you're there, you can help out a little for charity. for more info, click here. Artist History formed in late 2001, ToKeN has been writing and recording material on an almost constant basis. The name, Token, stems from the band's opinion of themselves that was set into place at a record label tryout earlier this year. "We were that token band that night," John explains. "We showed up there and realized that we were the only rock band in the place, and really were that 'token band'. And the rest is history."
