Artist History Once upon a time in 1995.....Jørn (The drummer), met up with Andreas(songwriter,vocalist,bassi etc etc...)at highschool. Andreas was wearing a "HELMET" T-shirt(HELMET= Jørn's favorite band) So they started talking and figured why not try and start a band. Andreas was allready playing with Alexander at the time, so the three of them startet the band "OVERFLOATER" and managed to play a lot of gigs and release a 5 track ep wich sold out (limited edition 500 copies). In 1998 Alexander left the band to play "Goth" in the band "Myriads". Andreas and Jørn changed the band name in 2000 to : "THIS MACHINE" and they recorded 11 new songs. This cd is still not released, but can be downloaded from the internet.Andreas has over 300 new songs ready to be recorded. Recent events has given us a reason to head into the studio once again. A new guitarist (Bjørn Bentsen)and a new bass player(Martin Skjæveland) have been recruted (or they recruted us). The future is looking nice, comfortable and filled with musical oddities. This band is here to stay!!
