Press Reviews
Not bad at all Tim, I'd go so far to call some of it good. I looked
at who you thought you were influenced by, but the list could be much
longer. I liked the Yes-like guitar/bass mirror on "hang on," and to
be honest, the swing beat you put in on "Ghost" was something you
don't hear in music very much these days. I do see the Radiohead
feel, and on "eat out fill" the ensemble reminded me of Stone Temple
Pilots back in their good old days of purple. The bridge on "12
gauge tea" was a nice touch, mostly because I think in general the
guitar should come out from hiding underneath that wall of distortion
more often. My compliments to the bass player for the good use of a
dominantly groove style but with the ability to fit in good riffs
with the feel of the song. Again whether you want to believe it or
not, you've got a 60's-70's flavor especially with the balance and
the vocals.
