Press Reviews Review of show with The Comeback Kid, Death Through Adam, and The Farewell: Misery in Eden (fka xFisherx) - extremely tight and energetic. these guys were freaking ON!!! the best way to describe this set would be to liken it to a hydra having a seizure. the energy that they unleashed during their breakdowns was so powerful, you could physically feel it. for a band that's only been together for a short period of time and had as many member and style changes as they have, this was an impressive performance. the influences (norma jean, dillinger escape plan, and zao) were apparent, but that's what these guys are into, so their material is going to reflect that. and besides, a whole is more than the sum of its parts. one of the places where this was best illustrated in the complex time changes that they pulled off, which absolutely floored me. and i must say, i was rather impressed by the drumming and bass lines in two of the songs. i'm amazed at how far they'd come since their show in Cole's garage last year. the only negative thing i have to say was that i didn't like the emo parts and didn't feel like they fully fit into the songs. however, they were above-average and not forced (highly unusual for most metalcore bands), so they get points for that. these guys definitely have the potential to make some noise and turn some heads. -tim adams
