    Artist History
The Original Plank used to be the house band at Screaming Inferno which is the club at the bottom of Hell. It was a good gig, except the chains that kept them attached to the stage were heavy and made it uncomfortable to play, and they were only allowed one 45 second set break every 1000 years. No one is quite sure how this happened, but at the end of the third set break, the drummer came back on stage with a rapid-repeat-fire machine gun and 4 million live rounds which he proceeded to mow down the demons in the audience with while thinking of flowers and puppies. The bass player used a cotton ball to cut through the chains and began hacking down the steel doors of the club with the same cotton ball. When you're trying to get out of hell, you'd be surprised how you can smash a cotton ball through tempered steel. The Devil, who was amused but ready to stop this ordeal, was being distracted by the singer who was trying to convince Mr. Devil that they only wanted eternal life on earth as dung beetles while the guitarist tied Satan's shoelaces together. The doors came crashing down and all four fled. The Devil tripped over his feet, the drummer continued firing, and they left. They spent the next 500 years sneaking through hell, and eventually left through a portal in the top layer which put them on South Street in Philadelphia. They kidnapped an engineer and recorded "True to Life" before going to NY, where they recorded the small album "MUSIC?". They then went their separate ways.

    Press Reviews
"Oh MY GOD!!!! THE FOUR HORSEMEN HAVE COME!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES-I THINK MY EARS ARE BLEEDING!!!" -every Goth who was at any of our shows "Not since the distorted actualizations of democracy and communism has a good idea been so bad. They have an undertone of hope for all souls, and giving hope is the cruelest thing to do to us folks in hell. Yet, perhaps if we punish ourselves enough then, maybe, just maybe we will be allowed to leave this eternal torment." -L.R. Hubbard, editor in chief of The Daily Brimstone "They asked me to sit in with them once and play trumpet." -Archangel Gabriel "If I ever find them, I'll rip their intestines out through their noses! Not because they escaped, mind you, but because my claws are too big to fix my damned shoelaces.... my minions laugh [at me] because they know I can't chase after them." -Satan "The Original Plank are the feel good movie of the century." -Malaclypse the Younger
