Music Style Nu-Metal

Artist History The Rhythm Addicts (later tRA) was found in the summer of 1999. At that time three musicians stroke their wisdom (?) and skills together. tRA was born; Wille (Wille Ruuskanen), Jr. (Markku Niiranen) and Big J. (Jukka Niiranen). tRA's music is difficult to categorise into a certain genre; we combine real instruments with machines by our own unique style. If someone need some kind of categorising, we would say that our music is nu-metal-/hiphop-/rap-/industrial/techno-/rock-combination. tRA has released their music mainly through the internet this far. We've recieved encouraging and positive feedback from "ordinary" listeners and from record-companies too. There's been phonecalls from Finnish record-companies and even from the U.S! This far there aren't any contracts written though. tRA has succeeded in the charts too; Our best position is #6 in the international MP3.COM's worldwide rapcore-chart. Similar Finnish site shas given us confidence too, we've been #1 in many sites. One independent record label - Electron Records LTD, found us from the internet and asked us to join their compilation-cd, and so we did. We promoted the material in all the medias, so interviews etc. aren't unknown to us. Joining to the compilation gave us some airtime in radios too. This far our band has thrown gigs mainly in the Kuopio and Joensuu, but now it's the capital's turn. Our gigs are very energetic and filled with 100% pure adrenaline. We're planning to get a real drummer in our band, not to force the machines aside, but to combine them together - we know that a real drummer is more esthetical than just the machine...
