Artist History Adriano Augusto was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1970. His mother played the guitar; witch exposed Adriano to music when he was just a child. He started to play the guitar at the age of twelve. Before long, he worked his way through: bass, piano and drums. Adriano uses both, acoustic and electrical guitars to produce a wild variety of musical textures. It is through his flowing, unrestricted playing style gained from years of study into scale, chordal structures, and harmony of musical cultures from all over the word that he has had the greatest impact as a guitarist. Adriano Augusto's powerful technique and dazzling original compositions, transform the electrical and acoustic guitar into an emotionally powerful tool for musical communication. His chosen and well-though-out path has enabled him to break new ground.
