The band loves to play live, put smiles on faces and a warm message in hearts. With influences like Jars of Clay, Lifehouse, BNL, Matchbox 20 and Caedmon's Call, Urban Disciples have their own unique sound with lots of harmony, along with a good mix of slow and up beat tunes. Keeping the vision of making music their career, faith is surely evident in the music they write and the message they relay.

Artist History Urban Disciples was formed in early October, 2000 by songwriters Kevin Jarvis (guitar/vocals) and Will Hawksworth (guitar/vocals). The other members of the band: Alberto Leal (percussion), Greg Samek (drums), Ben Muresan (keys) and Jeff Meloche (bass) were added slowly but surely like the mix of any great recipe. The band then immediately went to work on the songs Kevin and Will had written and ready to introduce to the world.
