Prince, the Time and Parliament were some of my biggest inspirations. I started out doing basic party jam music that had no words just funky base lines and simple cord progressions. One night I was at a party and asked the DJ to play one of my tapes and he did. I was shocked at the response I got from just a little Casio keyboard and overdubbing with two tape decks. In the process of time I built my own recording studio, and when sequencers hit main stream media, well; that was it, there was no stopping. I was pumping out music left and right. One day I decided to make my own CD. Sex Hype is the results of that decision. While working on Sex Hype I also decided to create my own record company. S.L.R Record Inc, is the result of that decision. The CD has been setting for a while because I basically ran out of money.
