Artist description
Basically, this page is meant as revivalism for Miss Anthropy, the once notorious basement group of quasi-musicians at Arlington High School. They only had few handfuls of practices and never wound up playing a gig, but their legend lives on through the cult status of songs like "lollipops" and "global." This insufferable squadron of purple monkey dishwashers took themselves pretty lightly though, often commenting on their incosistent and crude sounds in improvised songs and jam sessions.
Spiritually, psychologically, socially, sexually, and philosophically confused, main honchoes Timh Gabriele and Klames Juz (the names have been changed to protect the innocent, who are currently maintaining a rep)formed miss anthropy out of a natural high school desire to create that which guided our narrow paths better than anything else, music. Soon, guitarist Evan Barna and bassist Kevin Duffy joined the fun. Then we invited Jay West to come along as secondary or "rhythm guitar." Then we kinda stopped inviting Evan to practices. Then we invited him back. Then Jay didn't want to play with us anymore. The me and James fiddled around with our keyboards. Within a year of its formation, miss anthropy was nothing more than a clever name. |
