Artist History
Lil' Ray was born in Houston, Texas, by the proud parents of Ray L. Tyson Jr. and Sharon Alexander, at Jefferson Davis Hospital on June 12, 1987. Lil' Ray and his mother met Zandria Harrold the founder of Mi-Ti-Rion Children's Network in the summer of 1999. Under the guidance of Zandria Harrold, Lil' Ray was trained on how to use performer rap skills to accomplish what he had dreamed. He then began performing on shows at Shape Community Center, Bob Marley Festival, Houston Baptist Church, June Festival, Pan African Celebration and many more. He has also been the opening act for Tre 9 and Ginuwine. Lil' Ray has been promoted though radio on stations such as: Disney Radio (1590 a.m), K.T.S.U 90.9 f.m. and many more. He has also received interviews on Major Television Networks such as Fox 26 (Houston, TX) and Channel 8 (Street Flava). Lil' Ray also appeared on the Apollo Children's show at Sharptown Mall. He has also performed at many other publicized events, functions and arenas. Lil' Ray continues to flourish as an artist as his first single will be released from his self-debut album Lil' Ray- Ray-Day on April 2, 2001. |
