STUDIES:
Graduate from the Bucharest Music Academy – the Musicology class (1994) and the Composition class (1996).
Master of Arts in Musicology (1995) and Composition (1997).
She studied with Octavian Nemescu (composition), Octavian Lazar Cosma (musicology), Adrian Iorgulescu (musical analysis), Nicolae Beloiu (orchestration), Adrian Ratiu (harmony).
ACTIVITIES:
Editor of the Romanian Specialized review MUZICA
Researcher of the Art-History Institute “G.Oprescu” in Bucharest
Founder and member of the PRO CONTEMPORANIA music ensemble (set up in 1990).
Special performances as : pianist, percussionist, khaen-player.
She feels very attracted to Vanguard Experiments and Improvisation.
Her works devoted to the surrealistic sonorous trend have been performed in many concerts, in Romania, Sweden, Moldavia, Germany, Albania, Belgium, France, Italy, Neetherlands, Switzerland, Israel, Poland.
She was invited by the Japan Federation of Composers in Tokio and she was introduced to its members. Contacts with the Japanese
composers. She is very attracted to the Eastern feeling of time and space and to the ancestral (traditional) instruments.

Artist History
AWARDS:
First Prize at the National Composition Contest organized by the Romanian Radio Broadcasting (1998) with the orchestral work Mondes Impossibles. The same work was recommended for Radio Broadcast all over the world (Paris - Tribune Internationale des Compositeurs 1999)

Second prize at the „Thomas Bloch Composition contest for glassharmonica”, Paris - 2000”
She won a scholarship from PEJA and a creation prize (2000) with residency in Belgium (Mons) for her symphonic work “Chimeres” – perspective magrittienne pour violoncelle, orchestre a cordes et percussion
