Artist description
The Glory Hounds one of the East Coast's leading Power/Pop bands, formed in
September of 2000. They are comprised of some of the most promising
talents to come together in the history of the Hampton Roads music scene.
Based in Virginia Beach, VA, the trio has been cranking out their brand of
music to pleased and enthusiastic crowds at every show. Their style and
stage presence is world class. The original material that The Glory Hounds
creates is centered around the songwriting of Brian Grilli (vocalist/lead
guitar). His songwriting is direct and simple. Rounding up the lineup is the
solid rhythm section of Ross King on bass/vocals and Billy Shearin on
drums/vocals. Being the perfect compliment for Grilli's melodic yet guitar
induced rock; the result is a collection of original songs that are addictive
and fun. Drawing from such influences as Cheap Trick and The Sex Pistols,
The Glory Hounds have created their own definitive sound that has the ability
to reach a wide variety of audiences...male,female...young,old...proving the
theory that "You can't go wrong with a good song!" The Glory Hounds will
undoubtedly be the next major export from this areas' music scene. |
