Mi-Ty-Rion Children's Network is an organized group formed for the sole purpose of advocating Drug Awareness, Aids Prevention and Education through the Art of Music. Double Dose has been apart of the Mi-Ty-Rion family since 1999. Under the guidance of the Founder/Director of this organization, Zandria Harrold, Double Dose have gone on to accomplish major things. These performers have been featured at many arenas, on many tours and highly publicized events such as: The Annual Bob Marley Festival (1999-2002), The Houston Downtown Street Festival, Times Square (New York City), The Cynthia Woods Pavilion, The George R. Brown-Children's Exp, and they made semi-finalist for the McDonald's Apollo children's Competition. Double Dose made their appearance on Showtime at the Apollo in New York City on January 26, 2002. Double Dose have also received interviews on Radio Disney (Sarah St. John- Party Animal, on the breakfast club) and made history as one of the first performers for the Disney's Rockin' Noon Years Eve Celebration, Majic 102 Candy, 90.0 Charles Hudson, KYOK 1590 and many more. Double Dose has received a proclamation from Mayor Lee Brown and the city of Houston. Mayor Lee Brown has proclaimed every January 26 as Double Dose day in the city of Houston. Double Dose has also received interviews on Fox 26 (Andrea Watkins) and Channel 8 (Street Flava). Double Dose are on Mi-Ty-Rion Music group recording label and their first single will be release on April 24, 2002, off their debut album entitled Double Dose. This single is "What you gonna do with your life?" Double Dose was formed in 1999.
