Artist History
Ray Boulay, Todd Nichol, Brendan Peltier, Mike Brisbin and Pauline Braithwaite are based out of Toronto, Canada and have been writing beautiful textured music since the fall of 2001. There is a great chemistry between these freinds that is very hard to find among the thousands of musicians out there, but these five have mixed the right beakers and test tubes to get a fine mélange. Ray's theatrical performance background and classical voice training, with Brendan's Ben Folds/Bruce Hornsby-esk nibble fingers create the two of five colourful layers. They would not be complete without Todd's ability to play around, on and behind the beat making him a true drummer. Mike is solid on the back beat still being able to drop in stylings of Tony Levin and Geddy Lee while Pauine adds the sweet rock'n sounds of vocal layering. Ray Boulay & The Constituents have been featured on Daytime, a Rogers Television talkshow and have had audience members buckling over with laughter with their special brand of "Muse-omdey", a mixture of musical and comedy antics. They are currently playing in and around the Toronto area.
So come out and be humoured, be moved,be entertained.... Be a Constituent
