Artist History
The core of the group got togeather over 5 years
in Bozeman Montana, where they played under the name
Tribe to Neptune. Niche formed shortly after. After an
extended period of local gigs often in collaboration with
traveling folk singer Panda, the time came to move on.
Adam Platt, leader, began attending New England Conservatory in Boston Mass
in the fall of 2000, and the band followed in the winter of 2001, minus
Guitarist/Bassist Justin Brown. Alexis Foreman, another friend from Bozeman
who independantly move to Boston during this time, took
up the botttom end, and Eric Sullivan, another NEC student
took the role of lead guitar.
The band now plays around the boston area.
