Artist description All songs were recorded at The Crime Lab West by Tucker Burnes. Everything is pretty much a straight dump from the 4-track reel-reel masters, so some of the aural junk is still in that would have been mixed out of the final cuts. Otherwise, Tucker took the time to make us sound pretty good.

Artist History MegaBlast was a brief, intense flame in the annals of rockdom. Born in the summer of '97, the fall and winter seasons were spent polishing the Megablast sound. Serious as a heartattack, they debuted at the legendary Kurtz's of Cedar Rapids, opening for Pearls 4 Swine. A good time was had by all. Except for the lady that complained we weren't playing anything she knew. On July 4, 1997, MegaBlast played their legendary final set on the very same Kurtz's stage. Opening for local metal/rap act, Kaotic Order, MegaBlast proceeded to bring the house down. We made $40 bucks for the gig. We got ripped, man. Alas, MegaBlast is no more. Put your panties back on, ladies--the members are spread across this fine country, most likely never to reunite. You, gentle listener, are left only with these sonic documents to confirm that MegaBlast did, indeed, have the maximum load.
