Artist History
"I have been drowned in music my whole life. My earliest memories are of me sitting on the edge of my father's bed singing along with him playing The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Many years later and countless hours sitting on the edge of my own bed I started writing my own songs. High school came and went. Bands came and went. Throughout all that I have been through I was always happier playing my own songs. So, in the late summer of '01 I started work on my LP demo "Mercy". A collection of songs that I have been working on for three plus years. Half way through I realized that if I wanted to play this music live I would need a cast of excellent musicians. I couldn't do it all by myself. I don't have that many hands. I asked my good friends Scott, Corey and Mike to help me out. Together we are known as Under The Eve. We are currently playing out somewhere. Check your local listings!" - Geoff Barone |

Press Reviews
On UTE's performances at the Evening Star and Nietzche's 1/24-25, 2003:
"Under the Eve is a really good band, man! Tight as all hell, great singer hitting the highs ... got a chance to catch them opening up for Klear last weekend and was impressed, then their Zeppelin set crushed the night after ... if they carry on they have a bright future." -Jeff Garbaz www.garbaz.com/Jackson Music
Review from UTE's performance at "The Happening Version 6.0" 7/29/02
"The band Under The Eve presented hard-driving, melodic and catchy melodies. With nice arrangements, [and] tight musical structure, these guys show potential for only getting better as time goes on." - Ida, Buffalo Rock Review (brrtv.com) |
