Artist History
Actually drummer-Paul DeCosmo, bassist-Chip Manger, & guitar/vocalist-Eric Best started playing music back in high school in the early 90's just playing silly cover songs just for fun. Then in 1997 Eric ran into Alden at a Subway job they both were employed at for which they planned to jam eventually. After a few practices in the "BAKERY", songs like Just Go Away & Something's in Tha Way were written & pretty much that's how the band got started. Steve DeCosmo had written an addition to Somethin's in tha Way which made him a full time member of the band rapping in some songs and singing back-up in others. In Feburary 1998 they had their first paying gig in Tampa, FL.
After the release of the Rude Squad self-titled album Chip eventually quit the band to put more into his other project "LO". Luckily after putting search adds in local magazines for a new bass player Alex Trellu, who was a bad-ass bass player from his former band "LAME", was quickly added in 2000. |
