Artist description In early May 2001, we, Fredrik Lindquist and Jimmy Svensson, sat down for a little musical jam at Fredrik's homestudio. After several years of work in separate projects we both felt that it was time to change and to do something different. That's how it all started. As we both like ebm / industrial music the goal of our collaboration was clear. We wanted to do music that would work live, in clubs and on record. But most important we needed a to get a rush from what we were doing and Shaven is just that. We wanted to do pure entertainment. When the first couple of songs were recorded we realised that this was what we wanted. High energy ebm with the spirit of rock'n'roll. No fuss, just a straight kick right in the stomach. The possibility for Shaven to play with sex and fetisch makes the live shows agressive, vivid and filled with energy.
