Artist History
I started by sticking microphones inside pianos and plucking the strings, recording it and playing the tapes backwards. Lots of feedback!
After that, I started chopping up audio tape and doing loops on a 1950s era one track Wollensack recorder.
I built a PAIA Gnome Microsythesizer in 1972. I've been building gear ever since.
I started programming microcomputers sometime around 1977. Most of what I'm working on these days takes place inside a computer.
