Artist History
MoRoNIK started with four people, Squirley, Tanner, Steve, and Alex.
Tanner, MoRoNIK's current drummer, used to live in the city. He was
in a band with a kid named Joe. When Tanner had to move to Long Island
and leave Joe behind, it became difficult to find time to practice.
Tanner and Joe tried really hard to practice as much as they could.
But living so far apart it was difficult. Then one night Nick met a
kid named Alex at a party and they became friends. Tanner told Alex
about Joe and how they needed a bassist, so Alex went out to buy a bass.
But Nick and Alex couln't play with Joe very often, since he lived so far
away, so they had to quit.
Squirley and Steve, MoRoNIK's current guitarists and vocalists, were best friends
in 6th grade. They were friends with a kid named Dan. Squirley, Steve and Dan started a band called SSS91.
Steve already played guitar and Squirley was going to play guitar too. Dan was going to play bass and they
were going to have their friend Brendan play drums. Squirley got his guitar but Brendan and Dan never got
their instruments. Then Steve started to shave his ass and on top of that, Squirley became a transvestite.
But hes not anymore. So Squirley and Steve quit SSS91.
In 7th grade Steve met Tanner and he told him that he played
drums and his friend played bass. Steve said his friend Squirley
played guitar. So they started to play together and they called themselves
MNOP, later changed to MoRoNIK.
