Artist History From the depths of the Cedar Valley somewhere in the state most often confused with Idaho, comes a band beyond their time. The band BounD. A band of five people living out a dream to become the best that they can. Since starting out as a 4 piece band in mid 2001, the addition of a second guitar was the shot for stardom. With influences ranging from as far left field as the Deftones and Slayer, to as mainstream as Creed and Nickelback, every listener is sure to find something that they can identify with. Sam has been playing bass for seven years and has played six-string guitar since the age of 13. He devoted his musical interest mostly to the true love of great American rock and roll. Branden Strong quite possibly has to be one of the most passionate guitarists the little state has to offer. With fast and furious riffs, sweet melodies, and infectious grooves, he is not to be ignored. The heartbeat of this band has to be devoted to Josh Bier. A man gifted to play drums right from the get go. Always a super talent, he has no problem complimenting this group as well as astonishing them each and every rehearsal. His wicked drums are as amazing as his softest beats. Brad Grieves is the second guitarist, but just because he is listed second, does not mean that he is the lesser. With playing some of the most amazing riffs and writing skills above and beyond that of any mortal, he was the only choice for a band of this caliber, as well as the only band to handle his amazing playing. With his punk influence, he adds spice to all the songs, but his softer influences add the sugar. An amazing player through and through, no one else could do what he does in this band. He is untouchable. Period. As far as vocals are concerned, Craig Pearce has a soothing, yet aggressive voice that cuts right through your chest and lands directly in your heart. Singing from the age of a young child, throughout chorus, show choir, and all state championships, after an uncounted number of pitchers of beverage, could still put up a good fight at any karaoke contest this side of the galaxy. With unreal stamina and a rough untouchable edge in his lyric writing ability, there is no doubt that he will astonish any listener. Energy and attitude are what this band is all about. Devotion, integrity, and a common love for music is what this band has held as their pride. This is a guarantee for an awesome crowd of fun loving people. It is an experience not soon forgotten... Not just to be heard, but seen as well. With intense musical riffs, impeccable timing, and pure originality, they are sure to please even the harshest critics.
