Artist History
The Need Machine is four strapping young lads who form Corpus Christi, Texas's finest up and coming rock band. By combining the energy of punk rock and the inelligencec of indie rock, The Need Machine creates a driving creation of high energy rock with infectious melodies and heart wrenching lyrics.
Long time friends and previous band mates Ross Dubois and Daniel Middour regrouped in the summer of 2000 after a several year hiatus from a previous band to concoct a new sound. Enlisting the guitar work and vocals of local music enthusiast Eddie Chapa, they found themselves missing only one piece to this puzzle. Friend and bass virtuoso Bobby Andrews of Clinton, Mississippi completed the circle compliments of the United States military.
The Need Machine's honest, emotionally driven brand of rock is dwarfed only by their energetic live show. The Need Machine takes to the stage blazing guitars, anthemic harmonies, and flailing bodies set to the sound of their dynamic rock and roll experiment.
The Need Machine is currently planning their second tour, to be embarked upon this summer. They are also going back into the studio to record new material for their first full length album, completely self released, pending future developements. Their plans for the future are simple: to keep playing as loud, as hard, and as often as possible while trying to get someone to to pay them for doing it. |
