Press Reviews
"A gothic rock band out of Baltimore has reared its head on the scene. They call themselves 'The Drowning Season' (G,rock) and have been influenced by such prominent goth bands as The Sisters Of Mercy (G), The Mission [UK] (G) and Fields Of The Nephilim (G).
The Drowning Season's sound can be described as smooth guitars and vocals with rock beats and a twist of gothic sentiment.
Their first CD, "Six Hollow Perfect Things," includes 4 tracks of absolute spectacle. The upcoming singer, Matt Slowkowski, has a great voice. Combined with two other rising stars, Tim Gutierrez on guitar and Sideshow on Drums and strings, these guys should not be missed. Watch for them to play the Baltimore area and the [soon expanding] surrounding area. For a taste, go to drowning-season.com." |
