Artist History Deadwater Drowning was officially formed in January 2002 with ex-members Jon Fay, Seth Coleman, and Nate Johnson of Chagrin. In August of 2003, Jon Fay left Deadwater Drowning for personal reasons. the band then recruited Steve Whalen from Brookline NH on guitar.
