Artist History It all started over 10 years ago in Montreal, where a couple of us ( Martin and Simon ) got a band together in Simon`s parents garage playing punk-rock music. A couple of years later, joined by Damien, we played in a progressive rock band wich went on and off for a few years . We then got back together in 2001, where we met Julie( who had played various styles in many bands and projects as a saxophone player , doing backing vocals or as a lead vocalist ). That was the beginning of Universouls. We then started writing songs together and in the beginning of the year 2002 we started doing shows. Throughout that process we found our sound in pop disco-rock with latin, ska and surf music infuences. The sound that we have today. We wish to travel as far as our music will be able to bring us, meeting new friends and spreading vibrations of love and peace everywhere, knowing that all is one.
