Artist History It all started in the basement of Jeff and Russ' fraternity one day. What began as a way to pass time quickly grew into something more. A close fraternity brother, Marshall, introduced the two musicians to Mark Ivancic and the three started learning songs together and developing a presence. With the lucky addition of Ben Hamilton on the bass and Sam Morris on rhythm guitar, Tension was officially formed. After 6 months of gigging around Purdue, the band was to lose one of their members and a close friend - Sam was graduating. There have been many attempts at a "replacement" for the rhythm guitar position; however, the boys of Tension decided to gig a semester without the help of a rhythm player. So as it lies now, Tension is running rampant around West Lafayette and Purdue's music scene: ever-present, ever-pervalent, and ever rocking!
