    Artist History
Knocking around the NYC scene for the last few years, all four members of the band bring something unique to the table: Kenn's eclectic background and varied influences (everything from Beatles to Green Day!) forms a nice umbrella under which the entire sound is packaged. Lead guitarist Jim Ievolella lends a classic rock-tinged touch to Kenn's self-penned "fast, furious and fun" songs. Drummer Paul Zlotucha's veteran hardcore background provides the cutting edge foundation and energy from which the tunes are launched and bassist Tom Stubenvoll provides the perfect compliment to the rest of the band's pop-punk "oomph". A throbbing bass line, with kick-ass drumming, buzz-saw-like guitar riffs and tasty-sweet guitar leads, coupled with Kenn's on-edge vocal styling and radio-ready melodic hooks add up to a show that blows even the most complacent of audiences out into the streets.

    Press Reviews
"The Baghdaddios are a cross between college rock and punk pop; They Might Be Giants meets The Ramones. "Welcome To New York" is a great intro to the album and that city. It's a lively and rude shout-out to some of the reasons why The City That Never Sleeps can't get any shut-eye. (If you're making a movie in The Big Apple, this belongs on your soundtrack.)" Tony Peyser, Santa Monica Mirror - "...there's a spark of originality that may well explode in a live setting." Eric Shepard, Rockland Journal-News (Gannett Group) - "...they've carved a reputation in Village clubs for their blend of melodic guitar-rock with self-effacing lyrics" Dawn Eden, N.Y. Press (ZIMA Advertisement) - "...they sound like they're having fun...that fun is awfully infectious." Mike Gainor, CAKE Magazine - "...a ferocious and often hysterical rock and roll band whose CD, Willie Horton Hears a Who, is as impressive as any I've heard this year...a blistering slice of rebellion...a relentless barrage of 3 minute vignettes...on my best of...list." Tom Flannery,Electric City Press - "...sometimes witty and sarcastic...often self-deprecating...and almost always on target." Jim Testa, The Jersey Journal/Jersey Beat - "Christmas at C.B.G.B.'s -- the song and the CD, with its chorus of "it's good to be back home," solid guitar playing, and awning of that famous nightspot on the front cover -- is a nice holiday treat. On that level, it works."
