Artist description Pieces of Eight is a group of musicans making music from there souls. They are a combination of hard edge rock with hook influenced melodies. They take their music to the next step, of evolution as musicans. Pieces of Eight consist of 3 members, Jim, Wilson & Donny. After being in a previous band together, they decided to leave that band and follow a different path to the " Pieces of Eight". Which gave them more freedom to express their different genre of music and writing styles. In this group's new sound you can hear little bits of funk, rock, blues and space rock, with Jim's awesome vocal abilities and gift for the perfect hook, Wilson's groovin bass licks and atmosphere on keys, to Donny's creative placing of the beat and huge sound on the drums. Pieces of Eight is more than just a band, it's a group of friends that enjoy making music together.

Press Reviews I really have to admit, as much as I hate groups with talent, you guys are awesome. I am listening to the CD now for like the 5th time this morning and I can’t get enough of it. This is good shit! I will make a promise, that the next girl I have sex with, it will be to the first song on the CD. However the song might be a little long because God knows I wont be able to go that long. I almost wish that there were more songs on this CD, cause you guys are really good! Mike xXx
