Music Style
Hypno (kind of like Trance for the living room). Some songs may have a dance feel but they were made for listening to in your home or car rather then a dancefloor. |
|
Musical Influences
Punk, early electronic artist, early dance artists, Industrial, DJ Micheal K, Manchester and it's zillion bands, Austin and it's zillion bands, Seattle bands but that isn't my fault, some chill stuff, with a dash of noise here and there. |

Artist History
John Dante published a music magazine called 'Otis Magazine - Jacksonville's Official Slacker Rag' when he first finished high school. The 'zine focused on Jacksonville music and beer. This concept intreged young Johnny so much that the magazine became the live music venue called "Dante's Purgatory Pub". There he produced shows for bands like CIV, Dag, Limp Bizkit, and DJs like Andy Hughes, Sandy, Huda Hudia. During the same time hundreds of other touring bands and regional DJs plus hundreds of shows featuring local bands, singers, rappers, poets, soloists, and DJs. About 2 years into the club he joined forces with Paradome Entertainment in downtown Jacksonville. The venue was called Paradome and it was not making any money. John brought in several events, several other promoters, and helped produce shows featuring Top10 artists including Tito Puente, Planet Soul, Run DMC, Too Short, and several dozen others. Seven years ago he walked away from a semi-successful nightclub combo and production company to go to college for computers. During the time between 1998 and 2000 he was associate producer of The Official Y2K Party in Sugar Lake, Mexico, which ended in total disaster after the Mexican government pulled out several months before the event was to take place but the producer decided to go on. Ultimately the US governemt warned citizens not to leave the country over the NYE weekend and papers ran hundreds of stories of gloom and doom regarding terrorist attacks at NYE festivals. John now focuses on music distribution and production. He works with artists from around the world with production credits on songs produced in Russia, Sweden, Canada, Norway, Italy, England, and dozens of US cities. |
