Artist description My name, or my alias "Birdie Daddy" comes from a funny event back in 1999 when i was suffering from a stomach disorder and puked in a bird nest. After that event all my friends call me "Birdie Daddy" (The one who feeds the nestlings). So the name has nothing to do with intrests for birds realy. But i have a favourite bird anyway, and that is the rooster, and my name is also involved with golf. Yes! I am a realy golf master!!! Who i am behind the bird costume & the alias? I will never tell, so am i in shame of my "some times childish" music? "No i am not!!" But i just want to be secret, i want to be free! i want to play with madness without problems, i want to be hidden, i want to walk the streets without problems from they who don't understand that this is just someting i do for fun... :-) And for they who don't know, i am also a member in the group "Kycklingfabriken" (KF) (Chickenfactory) aside this solo project, and it was in KF everyting started back in the summer of 1999. All music i play & compose is mostly experimental with many kind of styles (see "music styles" below), My music is mostly mixed with an edge of comedy and madness, full of crazy beats & sounds. In the beginning my music was mostly instrumental, and some people have ask me why i call my instrumental tracks for comedy, but the answer is easy, the beat or the whole track is fun without samples & vocals. Listen to them, use your fantasy & use the track title as guide, then maybe you will smile or even laugh? But some tracks is not even meent to be comedy or funny at all. Some people have ask me why i always change style from album to album, and the answer is simple, I enjoy so many diffret music styles myself & i love to experiment with sound & comedy in a mix, and thats why i always do or try to do new stuff. There are also people who wonder why i sing like i crow on diffrent tracks, and the answer is; I am Birdie Daddy! (And that is why it sounds like a crow) :-) The alias "Birdie" that i play, is a bird! a swedish eagle with the voice of a crow, and "Birdie" is all nestlings "Daddy" because he use to feed them with a nice stinking puke. :-) I use different kind of instruments & hardware & computer softwares to make my music come true, (See "instruments" below). All my ispiration & energy to make my music comes from; TV, movies, games, books, people around me, my friends & from my dark & crazy brain. Some people have ask me if i use drugs!? (haha) :-) Then the strongest drug must be alcohole... Some tracks i have made was recorded when i was drunk, and the best way to understand them is to be drunk yourself :-) Some people also wonder why i make crazy & mad music mixed with serious music, and the answer is just because it's fun to make people laugh or just make them wonder :-) And by the way, we need much comedy in our world today, we need something who make us laugh, we need clowns... So i give my comedy & music to you for free! if you want & need it? And If you enjoy my music, then it is great! And If you hate it, then don't listen to it. And finaly i know that my music is great, acording to my fans!

Press Reviews Birdie Daddy, the bird of wonder & mystery. On stage he is hidden behind a bird costume behind his keyboards & guitars. He is a hell of a beat maker, and when he turns on the power, he makes even the stones laugh & dance. No one realy knows whats coming next, or what next album will sounds like, Everything is always a new chock, and sometimes you even don't know if it is comedy or serius. But maybe this is a part of his comedy, maybe this is what he wants? I think he laugh himself when people don't understand. But what ever he may do or not, he is a realy musical genius, and on stage he give us the best, and people also rave to his music at the same time they laugh till they cry. I will never forget the Palladium show in Stockholm, it was the best i ever have seen. "GUNNAR LARSSON - OKEJ 2001" -------------------------------------------------------------- What the h**l was this, first i saw the funny album cover, an owl, then i started the CD, and what can i say? This was a d**n chock, i have never heard something like it before, first there was a scream! then electronic music, and later a robot voice was starting to talk about animals! And the track titles was in latin! In my 6 years of doing album reviews, i have never ever laugh so much before, what was this, and Birdie Daddy! Who the h**l was he? But now i know, and what i can say, he is fantastic! I realy enjoy his music, and he have made my gray days more funny than ever! I will give his album "Strange Creatures" 5 of 5 smiles!
