Artist History FatKnuckleJack formed in late 2001 and moved quickly to promote themselves and their music. By March of 2002 the band could be found playing all-night shows at local venues, filling four hours with original rock music and upbeat cover songs. The summer and fall brought many more live performances, new original music, and the recording of their first six-song EP, Tomorrow Sounds Good, released in November of 2002. About the same time, FatKnuckleJack appeared in both the Post-News Battle of the Bands as a top 25 semi-finalist, and the Northern Colorado Scene Magazine Battle of the Bands as a top 10 finalist. Wrapping up their freshman year on the local music scene, FatKnuckleJack received the 2002 Emerging Artist Award at Archer's Backstreet Bar in Fort Collins. Always working to further promote themselves, FatKnuckleJack continues to play in Fort Collins and Denver, and can often be heard on popular radio stations Planet Radio 99.9FM, KCSU 90.5FM and KBPI 106.7FM.
