Artist description COMMON THRILL is a five-piece Boston pop/rock band that slyly twists the conventional boundaries of modern rock. Formed in 1997, by drummer Neil Bowman and singer, John Courduvelis, Thrill always incorporate wide musical influences, such as Interpol, Radiohead, Bryan Ferry and the Doors. Fleshed out by Rich DeCaprio’s and Brian Fernald's brilliantly expressive guitar work, and Billy Cohn’s pulsing, melodic bass, John’s Greek-American folk roots peek through the psychadelic arrangements. The band has become a staple at the local Boston Clubs, such as T.T. the Bear’s, The Middle East Cafe, and The Skybar. While building a solid fan base, they have opened for such national acts as, CycleFly, PeeShy and 8 1/2 Souvenirs and has garnered the interests of Radiohead's producer, Jim Warren.
