Artist History Amnezia began life in Stuart O'Brien's oversized imagination whilst listening to Nirvana. Through the 3 years since their conception the line up and style of play has changed. Their sense of humor remains intact though. They'll need it!!!!

Group Members Fact File Name : Chris Howard Age : Instrument : Drums Health Problems : Suffers From S.L.A.G (Systomatic Luminescent Agetated Goatee Disorder) A rare affliction where a persons beard has been known to glow when they become excited or irritated. Profile: Chris was welcomed to the band after the original drummer Fry left to persue what he called "A normal life away from you bunch of f**king weirdos". Chris is the litmus paper of taste in the band. He is outspoken about the style and content of the bands music and has been known to actually turn Red and Blue as a reaction to some suggestions. He proves wrong all theorys about drummers intelects and mastered Texas Instrument's "Speak and Spell" at the age of 1.5 months old. A fantastically talented drummer he has been known to draw crowds whilst idly tapping a pencil. Chris guides the band with a gentle hand and a big stick. Fact File Name : Jim Partridge Age : 24 Instrument : Vocals Health Problems : S.P.A.Z (Schitzophrenic Paranoid Agressive Zealousness) The sufferer will veer dangerously between not caring a damn about anything to claiming that somthing is their one true calling in life. Can result in inflated ego. Profile: Jim Partridge joined the band in the sunny summer of 1998. He replaced Lee as the lead vocalist and spiritual guru of the band. He was originally spotted by Steve and Stuart O' whilst they were out drinking in a New Cross nightclub as he pranced about singing "Paranoid" by Garbage. Jim admits that, at first, he thought they were out to mug him. "I really did have my doubts that either of these two thugs really had any kind of musical talent. The audition took place in a shady area and I was sure I'd be raped and beaten before I saw any evidence of a band. As it happened the rape came later. After they told me the good news. Initiation ceremonys can be a terrible thing." Jim writes the majority of the lyrics and tries his best to inspire the rest of the group. "I find a quick flash of my bum clevage works wonders" Fact File Name : Steve Hesmondhalgh Age : Instrument : Guitar Health Problems: Photophobia (Fear of Light) Profile: Steve's smooth guitar sounds form the base of any good Amnezia track. His knowledge and playing style are both exceptional and provoke underwear vollys from most female audiences. Stevens photophobia is becoming an increasing problem especially while Chris is in a heightened state of excitement or anger. As Chris's glow increases Steven will back himself into a corner and begin to rock gently backwards and forwards muttering to himself. These problems aside Steve works tirelessly throughout the night time hours on the orgaisational side of the band. "I can handle most venue's" said Steve recently "As long as they're dark!". Fact File Name: Stuart Holland Age: 22 Instrument: Bass Guitar Health Problems: C.R.A.P (Consistant Re-Affirmation Problems) The sufferer has major self esteem issues and needs constant encouragement in all situations. Long term relationships can be affected by this as it can lead to sexual hibitions. Profile: Stuart H was brought in to Amnezia as a replacment for Keiron the original bass player. While Keirons williness to learn and natural enthusiasm were impressive, the band felt that the fact that he didn't actually learn anything held them back a little. A dark period ensued (which pleased Steven immensly) but the band emerged a stronger unit with Stuart H filling the bass position. "It's what I always dreamed would happen" said Stuart after his first gig with Amnezia "I love the music. I love the attention and I love the ladies!". Stuarts need to be recognised in public can get him into trouble. Recently he was detained by police after stripping naked in a shopping precinct and declaring that he was the last pink Jelly Baby. No charges were brought against him. Fact File Name : Stuart O'Brian Age : Instrument : Guitar Health Problems: G.I.M.P (Glee Initiated Manic Paranoia) When the sufferer reaches a certain level of excitement a deep seated distrust of all those around them sets in. Profile: Stuart is the founder of the band and possibly the most dedicated. His catchy guitar lines and bug like eyes have won him freinds and fans from day one. He can often be found sitting with Steve in a darkened section of the room trying not to get too happy and trigger the paranoid outbursts that the rest of the band have come to know so well. Stuart will often shout the loudest about the bands acheivements and is no stranger to the media spotlight. In fact during a recent interview he was well on the way to securing Amnezia's place in the annuls of rock history. Tragically he reached an unacceptable level of happyness and ended up becomming suspicious of the interviewer and the 50,000 listners giving them the silent treatment as a result. "It's my cross to bear" said Stuart after the interview had ended "If those evil bastards hadn't been listening to the radio I would have been fine"
