Artist History Zygomatic officially formed in November 1998 and played their first show in late December. But the members have a deeper history than that. In 1997 Brian Kantor met Kenny MacKenzie while working at the Piano Outlet. He invited him out to one of the local jazz jams. Mike Savino, who played in a pop band with Brian many years back in H.S., started to learn the upright bass and wanted to improve his jazz skills also started attending the jazz jam. It was only a matter of time before they decided to get together before the jazz jam to play some songs that weren't your typical chart, such as Jeep on a 35 by Scofield. Then one day Kenny and Mike got together and started collaborating on an idea, which became Kenny Camaro. Their first song and the rest you can say is history.
