Artist History Formed in the year of 1996, TRYPTOPHAN has been performing off and on around the NYC area ever since. Our hard to pigeon hole music has been met with a variety of luke warm responses, and is fairly ill suited for beer halls and keg parties. Leader Ron Hill presses on in hope that someday, cheap acid will hit the streets and the imaginary audience he thinks exist for the music of TRYPTOPHAN will rise up!
