Press Reviews
"These Canadians are Roots Rock stalwarts. They are heavily influenced by the Big Pink era of the Band, and the singer seems to really identify with "This Note's For You"-era Neil Young. Grinding organ, front porch harmonies, and the overall gritty texture of their music are refreshing to hear compared to all the No Depression bands with excessive twang (as well as omnipresent mandolin solos). This band's influences as well as their natural chemistry make them one of the more enjoyable Americana acts. - Eric S. (listen.com)
"They bring the house down when they play live..."- Tom Harrison Vancouver Sun/Province
"I like this song *a lot*!" - Tom Harrison Vancouver Sun/Province,
speaking of "My Old Man". |
