Artist History First conceptualized and formed under the name "Well of Souls" in the early 90's, they produced and released a two-song demo [Psychic Modulation/Hex] which drew great reviews from both local and national zines like Rip! In 1994 a full-length CD [VolumeNovena]was privately produced and distributed, drawing even more attention to the band. They sonically assaulted all of the major clubs in the Chi-town area (Cabaret Metro, Dome Room, Crobar, China Club, Exit, etc.) even gigging with acts like Stone Temple Pilots, Stabbing Westward and Hole(YIKES!) at the now-deceased Avalon club.
