Artist History Sounds of Azul grew out of an industrial band. Originally, Kassim and Dave Dixon performed for openings at the Gallery Azul in Old Mesilla. After Dixon left and Martin joined the group, they began performing around Las Cruces, where they have gathered a small but loyal following.
