Formed in San Francisco, these guys live a rock star's dream. Ladies love them, guys want to be them. The original band was Dave Famous, Spacecase Kool and Bobbie Moonshot.That was until Bobbie's accident(see notes). After a long search Pat N. Leather has joined the band. Like missionaries sent to restore faith in all things rock 'n roll, the SchoolBus Bullies have descended with leather-tough, street level rock for the entire flock and would-be converts. Rough-to-the-touch guitars rumble like Harleys in bad need of an oil change, the drummer thuds and pounds away mercilessly, and the bass seeps like a slow-moving, viscous current. The lead singer kicks off each song with a primal scream, dropping soul-saving "yeahs" and "alrights" wherever necessary, like a modern day Iggy Pop. You get the feeling that these guys are as sincere about playing their rock 'n roll as they are about living it. |
